Welcome
The Popeseye Steakhouse
The Popeseye Steakhouse serves the finest grass-fed Aberdeen Angus and Highland beef, sourced directly from the North of Scotland – named “Popeseye” after the traditional Scottish term for rump steak. All our beef is aged for a minimum of 28 days to develop its distinctive flavour.
Our steaks range from 6 to 30 ounces and are served traditionally with chips and mustard.
We are also happy to accommodate private parties and events for up to 40 guests. While we specialise in beef, vegetarian and vegan meal options are available upon request with prior notice.
Bon Appétit!
The Highland rump was the best steak I have ever eaten.

If you like steak done properly, excellent chips, salad if you care for it, and sticky toffee pudding to round things out; check this place out. A favorite of mine when I'm nearby. Olive oil in addition would have been nice to make the steaks a bit more juicy. Tim FlanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. No gold foil or elbow-salt here, just the Best Steak in London. And an exceptional wine list... MayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is the best steakhouse I’ve been lucky enough to dine at. The food is exceptional, with perfectly cooked thick cut chips to accompany your steak - cooked exactly as requested. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff go above and beyond for you. Sani ArioTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A serious steakhouse keeps things simple. Popeseye does exactly that. Choose a cut, choose your weight and that's that. They dont offer anything else (other than salad and dessert). We had the rump and fillet, and both were cooked perfectly (medium rare). Yet the golden chips also stole the show, with its perfect crunch and soft on the inside. A nice arsenal of condements (mustards and sauces) was a nice touch. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, this was a wonderful suprise of a resto. Popeyes Steakhouse knows how to do steak properly and care about the meat. The 30oz ribeye was delicious and perfectly paired with a bottle of Château Beaumont - went down a treat. Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return. Michael KadoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Absolutely fantastic steaks. Served with great sauces and British honey mustard. So incredibly delicious. They also have a wide selection of very good wines. If you're looking for something special, this is the place to go. Many thanks also to the friendly lady who served us.Google rating score: 4.6 of 5, based on 227 reviews
